A two-storey single family house built in Ylästö, Vantaa, with a wooden frame and facades with Aquapanel plasterboarding. Roof is made of Ruukki's Classic metal sheet cover.
The building and the large carport were made to fit on an unusually shaped plot with neighboring buildings almost entirely not visible from the windows.
The customer's wish for a large covered terrace proved to be a successful solution, as it is a very effective to mimize heat load from large windows. It also makes an extension of the living room to the outside.
Geothermal energy was chosen as the heat source.
