The task was to design a two-storey detached house in a scenic beach area in Karhusaari, Eastern Helsinki.
Open living areas are located on the second floor with a view of the sea. On the entry floor are the bedrooms, the sauna department and the bedrooms.
The architecture of the house is simple and cubistic.
The building is made of stone, so the material is durable and relatively maintenance free. The building is equipped with efficient heat recovery.
